Socket Screws - Countersunk

The head of a countersunk socket screw features a flat conical top that is to be used on a predrilled countersink hole. This is so that when fastened into the target material, it will sit flush to the surface.

Like all other socket screws, the countersunk socket screw features a hexagonal drive and is fastened using an Allen key of a screwdriver with hexagon insert bits.

Our countersunk socket screws are grade 10.9 tensile steel manufactured in both metric and imperial standards as follows.

  • Metric – ISO 10642 DIN 7991
  • Imperial – BS2470

Please not that stainless steel in sizes A2 and A4 are not grade 10.9.
