Threaded Rod - BSF

What is BSF Studding?

BSF (British Standard Fine Thread) Threaded rod, also known as BSF studding, is available in 3-foot lengths in mild steel with a self-colour finish. Like BSW, it is an imperial measured thread (as opposed to products like m10 threaded rods), with a 55-degree thread flank angle, but it has a slightly fine pitch (more threads per inch).

Threaded rods are essentially a metal bar made from mild steel or brass that has a helical thread all the way along its length, and are manufactured to be installed in areas where they are subjected to high levels of tension and pressure. Thick and fine threaded rods are manufactured to be installed in areas where they are subjected to high levels of tension and pressure.

Customers should be aware that threaded rods have various names, and are also commonly called threaded bar, allthread and studding.
