Structural Screws
Our structural screws from Bolts feature a wafer head with a Torx drive. Each screw has a durocoat exterior corrosion-resistant finish and a milling thread.
The thread is partially serrated with a type 17 cutting point. The serrated part of the thread on these construction screws helps them to bite into the substrate. In turn, this will allow them to resist vibrations, preventing them from loosening over time. Structural timber screws will also develop and maintain high pull-out resistance over time due to the nature of the thread.
The torx wafer head also helps to give increased clamping capabilities. The large diameter of the head provides a large load-bearing surface area and can also countersink easily into softer substrates.
