Penny Washers
Penny washers, also known as repair washers or fender washers, have an overall outside diameter that is larger than standard flat washers.
This increased surface area of the penny washer spreads the force (and hence the tension load) that is applied over a much greater area when the nut is tightened, minimising damage to the material underneath and making them ideal for use on weak or damaged surfaces.
Repair washers are available in either metric or imperial variations. Imperial repair washers are thicker than their metric counterparts making them suitable for more heavy-duty applications.
Our range of repair washers are manufactured using high-quality materials such as self-colour steel, A2 stainless steel, and BZP steel with a clear passivation finish. They are supplied in a wide range of different pack sizes, from packs of 10 to packs of 500.
