Self Clinching Standoffs

About our Self-Clinching Standoffs:

Self-Clinching Standoffs are used to provide a female thread in a spacer-type fastener and can be used as Self-Clinching spacers, and are generally pressed onto sheet material. Our Self-Clinching Standoffs are available in a zinc-plated finish and are an excellent choice for your future Clinch Standoff installation. You can find additional help in our Guides and Tips

How to use Self-Clinching Standoffs:

Self-Clinching Standoffs are installed by drilling an appropriately sized hole in the sheet material, inserting the standoff, and then compressing it into place using a press. The head of the standoff is a hexagon shape which, when pressed, sinks into the sheet metal. The hex head provides resistance against any rotational forces when a female thread is connected on to the nut.
