Carcass Screws
Carcass screws are coarse, single thread woodscrews with sharp points that are used in the furniture industry. They are a countersunk pozidrive head pattern.
The thread on a carcass screw is exceptionally coarse, making them ideal for use on MDF and chipboard carcasses. The pozidrive head reduces the risk of “cam out” that would be an issue with a Phillips head.
Carcass screws are available in a black phosphate finish for increased resistance to corrosion.
