Our No6UNF nut or its correct description full nut is the standard type of hex nut supplied when asking for nuts and bolts. These No6UNF imperial nuts in a self colour steel finish are widely used in construction, automotive, industrial machinery, and many other fields due to their strength and ease of use. When paired with a lock washer or used as part of a jam nut setup, they can prevent loosening due to vibration. Other common pairings are with the many different types of washers available depending on the application like wide load distribution penny washers or for a lock washer type try our nord-lock washer which use wedge-effect tension rather than friction to secure the assembly.
